EU Junior Product Manager

Job Summary

Reporting in to one of the Product Marketing Managers for Russell Hobbs, you will be responsible for managing the seasonal product launches within the Table Top Cooking category and assisting in the management of the Grills category (which includes the George Foreman Grill). Based in the European headquarters of this multinational company and working with market leading brand Russell Hobbs, this is an ideal role for someone with product marketing experience that is looking to further their marketing career.

Responsibilities / Duties

  • Responsible for the new product development across Europe within the Table Top Cooking category, from concept through to launch. Specific duties include:
  • Market, product and trend analysis to identify gaps and opportunities in the marketplace.
  • This is a very diverse and complex market, you will be expected to gain full understanding of market requirements and local variations between different European regions to assist with the development of new products.
  • Drive product strategy and develop 3 year product plan for the category.
  • Work together with global project management and engineering teams to ensure launches are delivered on time, on cost and fulfil the requirements of the market in Europe.
  • Responsible for briefing and coordinating development of new packaging with in house studio team.
  • Working together with brand marketing team to develop marketing assets and launch strategy.
  • Presenting new launches to pan European Sales and Marketing teams.

Other duties include

  • Assisting Marketing Manager with all of the above on the Grills category.
  • Running sales reports & analysis using internal software
  • Working with in house chef/ home economist to develop recipes and ensure products perform to market expectations

Skills and experience

  • Successful candidates will have 2 to 3 years of product marketing experience and be able to demonstrate that they can manage their own category within the business.


  • Relevant Marketing/Business qualification
  • Organisational, project management & planning skills
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills and proficiency in PowerPoint
  • Flexible, customer focused attitude and a good team player
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable with analysing and working with numbers (sales data, prices, margins etc.)


  • Experience within relevant industry sector
  • Additional language skills not essential but welcome
  • Passion and knowledge of food and home cooking
